Hálsanefshellir

Hálsanefshellir – one of Iceland’s most famous caves, is located directly on the renowned Reynisfjara beach at the foot of Mount Reynisfjall. It is formed and lined with basalt columns, creating an indispensable backdrop for an endless array of photographs, ranging from selfies to wedding pictures.

The entrance to the Hálsanefshellir cave is right on Reynisfjara beach, close to the parking lot.
