Víkurfjara

The black beach Víkurfjara is just a few steps away from the town of Vík and offers beautiful views of the Reynisdrangar rock formations. When moving around the beach, the same rules apply as on its more famous sister beach, Reynisfjara. The sea here is dangerous (which is why you won’t find a harbor here) and unpredictable, so never turn your back on it!

You can find Víkurfjara Beach right in the town of Vík í Mýrdal, of course, along the coast.
