Foss í Stakkholtsgjá

Stakkholtsfoss is an unofficial name for a nameless waterfall that can be found deep within a rocky gorge at the end of the beautiful Stakkholtsgjá canyon in the Þórsmörk area.

The journey begins in a fairly wide valley that gradually narrows. Eventually, you will need to ford a small river. As the canyon narrows further, you will enter the rocks, where this beautiful hidden gem awaits you.
