A beautiful viewpoint that is quite easily accessible if you are near the Remundarsgil canyon. From the parking spot, it is just a short and fairly easy hike of a few dozen minutes without any difficult sections.
The views of the stunning and rugged nature of Iceland’s interior from here are worth it. Glacial rivers, the tongue of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, and the combination of ice, black soil, and the occasional green mosses are what await you.
