Vestdalsfossar

Vestdalsfossar is the name of a series of waterfalls located near the port town of Seyðisfjörður. If you arrive in Iceland by ferry, this spot might be your introduction to the diverse wilderness of Icelandic nature, waterfalls, and mountains (whose peaks are snow-covered for most of the year). It is situated below the summit of a mountain ridge, with Sandhólatindur, at 1065 meters, being the highest mountain in the area.
