Klifbrekkufossar

Klifbrekkufossar is a series of nine cascading waterfalls, totaling 90 meters in height, located on the Fjarðará river. They create stunning scenery in the Mjóifjörður fjord area. It’s no surprise that their name can be loosely translated as “Cliff Slope Waterfalls.”

You can find the Klifbrekkufossar waterfalls in the Mjóifjörður fjord area, near the gravel road number 953, approximately 26 kilometers southeast of Egilsstaðir.
