Raftagil
Raftagil is a canyon on the banks of the Jökulsá í Lóni River, which can be found near road no. 1 and is a lesser-known sibling of Hvannagil Canyon. Here, you can walk upstream to the point where the hiking trail meets the path through Hvannagil Canyon, allowing you to make a circular journey. Interestingly, there is a lot of greenery, grass, shrubs, and low trees in this area.
