Mælifell

Mælifell is a stunningly symmetrical 200-meter-high mountain located in the Icelandic highlands. It stands alone on a vast plain of black sand, and its green color illuminates the surroundings, giving it incredible charisma.

If you’re up for it, there’s a rather steep trail that leads almost to the top, but you can enjoy this place without having to climb up.

You can reach Mælifell only with a 4×4 vehicle via the F210 road.
