Ásmundarsandur is one of the northernmost beaches in Iceland. It boasts beautiful white sand, but for understandable reasons, it remains unmaintained as even on hot summer days, the temperature rarely exceeds 10°C, leaving it littered with debris.
However, it is perfectly ideal for a romantic walk along the shores of the North Atlantic.
