Merkjaklettur

Merkjaklettur is an easily accessible rocky beach. While it’s not suitable for swimming, it’s amazing for birdwatching, as you can be right under the cliffs and observe the nesting birds, including puffins, from an unusual angle from below and quite close with a bit of caution.
