Þaraósvík Bird Observatory

If you are a birdwatching or bird photography enthusiast and you find yourself close to the Arctic Circle, you will discover a bird observation hide where you can spend hours enjoying and photographing the birds. The hide is located just off the coast, about 3 kilometers north of the town of Raufarhöfn. Nearby, there is a small shallow bay, and with a bit of luck, you might have the birds literally within arm’s reach.
