Hraunhafnartangi

Hraunhafnartangi is a place on the northern coast that has suffered a similar fate to the planet Pluto. Hraunhafnartangi was considered the northernmost point of mainland Iceland until 2016, but after a remeasurement it turned out that the northernmost point of mainland Iceland is the nearby Cape Rifstangi.
The walk here takes about an hour through flat countryside.
