Draugafoss (the ghost waterfall) is a cascading waterfall on the Rauðaá river in the Bakkafjörður area. Before the waterfall, the river is divided, but right above the waterfall, it joins and the water falls down in four sections. Draugafoss can be seen from road 85. However, in this area, there are no suitable parking spaces. The path to the waterfall is partially marked, but it soon becomes clear that the markers serve a different purpose than to guide you to the waterfall, and so if you want to reach the waterfall, you will need to find a suitable path on your own. Since the waterfall is visible the entire time, you will certainly manage.
