Önnustapi
Önnustapi are cliffs in a place called Landsendi, meaning “the end of the land.” You can find them several kilometers from the little village of Bakkafjörður, just a few hundred meters beyond the interesting Digranesviti lighthouse. Puffins have also recently begun nesting on the cliffs here. However, the cliffs are completely inaccessible, so you can only watch the puffins either in flight or down on the water, and they will always be at least 40 meters away from you, so bring binoculars if you want to watch them.
From the small parking lot at the end of the dirt road, it is about a 20-minute walk.
