Selfoss is a 11 meters tall, indented waterfall on the Jökulsá á Fjöllum river in north east Iceland. This is the first of the waterfall trio Selfoss – Dettifoss – Hafragilsfoss. You can admire it from both banks of the river. Do the decision which view is better for yourself.
You can quite easily come to the Selfoss waterfall from both sides of the river. In both cases just park your car on the parking lot to the Dettifoss waterfall, either from the west or from the east side. Go to Dettifoss and then for about 800 meters against the stream. And you are here.
