Hestfall

Hestfall are fascinating rock formations on the western coast of the Melrakkaslétta peninsula. You can admire them either from above, from the cliff, or you can go down to the beach. However, be particularly careful in this area, as the ocean can be very unpredictable and dangerous.

Hestfall is located 11 kilometers north of the village of Kópasker along gravel road no. 870, with a nearby parking lot marked by colorful stones. Further north, you’ll find the Rauðinúpur cliffs, home to nesting northern gannets.
