Hænubrekkufoss

Hænubrekkufoss is approximately a 30-meter-tall waterfall on the Berufjarðará River. From up close, only the last section of the waterfall can be seen, but from a greater distance, it is visible that there are additional smaller cascades behind the waterfall. The waterfall is more challenging to access; it is situated near the Öxi Pass road, where you need to find a place nearby to park safely without obstructing traffic. From there, you will need to walk approximately 20 minutes through nature towards Hænubrekkufoss.
