Stefánsbúð is an emergency shelter located on road 95, about 2 kilometers east of the intersection with the famous road 939 – Öxi. There is a parking area and a nice view of the surroundings, where the Heiðarvatn lake stands out among the hills, and you will surely spend a pleasant moment here during a break in your journey.
