Folaldafoss

Folaldafoss is a waterfall on the Berufjarðará river along the gravel road 939 known as Öxi Pass in eastern Iceland. It’s one of those places where you can still find and witness the unspoiled beauty of Iceland. There are no barriers, ropes, or “do not enter” signs. From the parking area, the waterfall doesn’t look very monumental, but if you’re already there, take half an hour to explore the local nature up to the waterfall. I believe it will be a wonderful experience for you. Truly.

Folaldafoss waterfall is located in Eastern Iceland just a few dozen meters from the infamous shortcut on Route 1 named Öxi Pass.
