Gluggafoss (sometimes also called Merkjárfoss), is a cascade fall which shape is formed by soft stone and volcanic ash. Therefore it changes its appearance quite often.
Gluggafoss is close to crossing of the road nr. 250 with nr. 261. 15 kilometers (10 miles) east of Hvolsvöllur.
