Gatastakkur
Gatastakkur is an intriguing lava formation in the sea at the end of the Rauðanes peninsula, attracting photographers and other tourists.
From the parking lot, you can expect a flat walk of about two hours along the coast of the Þistilfjörður fjord. Along the way, besides the famous Gatastakkur (which is halfway through the route), you will see other interesting rock formations. According to the information board, there are a total of 16 formations.
