Hnausapollur (Bláhylur)

Hnausapollur (sometimes also known as Bláhylur) is a sky-blue crater lake in the heart of Iceland’s interior. Most people just drive by, but don’t be one of them—come and enjoy this place and its beautiful views.

The lake is easily accessible from road F208 if you are heading to or from Landmannalaugar in Iceland’s interior.
