Bláhnjúkur

Bláhnúkur is one of the fascinating mountains in the Landmannalaugar area and is therefore a frequent destination for several-hour hikes.

You can reach Bláhnúkur in about an hour from Landmannalaugar. The ascent from the side directly next to the campsite is not difficult. However, from the other side, there are a few steeper sections during the climb, which can be challenging or even impassable when the surface is wet.
