Steinmenn

Steinmenn are stone men who guard the town of Akureyri from its western slopes. You will find them at an elevation of 503 meters, and since you will be climbing from an elevation of about 50 meters, you can calculate the elevation gain that awaits you yourself. The hike is not at all demanding, though, and the views from up there are really beautiful.
