Krýsuvíkurbjarg

One of the best bird watching cliffs in Iceland with about 60.000 bird residents, that is the colorful Krýsuvík cliff – Krýsuvíkurbjarg.

 

How to find Krýsuvíkurbjarg:

Krýsuvík cliffs are located on the south shore of the Reykjanes peninsula. It is about 3 kilometers/2 miles off the road 427 and on the way here, you have to cross a stream. If you don´t want to cross it in a car, then you can wade it and go for about 20 minutes.
