Deildartunguhver

Deildartunguhver is one of the most powerful hot springs in Europe. Nearly 200 liters of water at a temperature of 97°C surface here every second. The hot water from Deildartunguhver is used to heat the towns of Borgarnes and Akranes.

You can find Deildartunguhver in the eastern part of the loop on Road No. 50 in the western region of Iceland.
