Bolafjall mountain

Bolafjall is a 638-meter-high mountain that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding nature, the town of Bolungarvík, the waters of Ísafjarðardjúp, and the Hornstrandir Nature Reserve.

Bolafjall is located above the town of Bolungarvík, and you can reach it via a very winding mountain road. This road was originally used only for military purposes, but since 2002, civilians have also been allowed to use it.
