Ósvör Maritime Museum

At the Ósvör Museum, you have an amazing opportunity to delve into Iceland’s distant past. It is a reconstruction of a fishing village. Everything looks simple (just as it was in the past), and with the help of a guide who will assist you (in my case, it was a beautiful Icelandic girl), you will learn a lot and find many surprising facts.

You can find the Ósvör Museum across the bay from the fishing town of Bolungarvík, located at the end of the Westfjords. Simply park at the local parking lot and enjoy a trip back in time.
