Camp at a farm on the northwest shore of the Fellsströnd–Skarðsströnd peninsula along road 590, Klofningsvegur, in a forgotten part of Iceland. This camp will certainly not suit everyone for many reasons. Unlike most campsites in Iceland where you pay per person, here you pay per tent/caravan (3500 ISK), cash only, Icelandic is the only language spoken, facilities are in a barn, the shower is unique, and the lawn is very nice.
