Bæjarfoss – the town waterfall, is a 35-meter-high waterfall located behind the small town of Ólafsvík. There is a path leading to it from the church, which you can manage in 10 minutes. You can also go from the parking lot at the western exit of the town along road 35. Bæjarfoss is certainly not among the biggest attractions of the Snæfellsnes peninsula, but if you are here and want to enjoy a pleasant walk, Bæjarfoss is here for you.
