Sönghellir

Sönghellir, also known as the Cave of Songs, is a collection of caves that accentuate echoes. When you visit, you can try it out for yourself.

Legend has it that Bárður Snæfellsás, half-human, half-troll, once lived in this cave. And in Iceland, legends don’t lie.

You can find Sönghellir about 5 kilometers northwest of the town of Arnarstapi, right next to road F570 on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in western Iceland.
