Keldur á Rangárvöllum

Beautiful grass-covered wooden houses, that’s Keldur á Rangárvöllum, the oldest preserved traditional Icelandic settlement, originally from the 12th century. Its first resident was Ingjaldur Höskuldsson, who is mentioned in the Saga of Njál. You can walk among the houses for free, and during opening hours, guided tours are available.
