Laufskálavarða
Laufskálavarða is a small lava ridge located on the southern coast of Iceland, near Route 1, approximately halfway between Vík í Mýrdal and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. There is a parking lot with restrooms nearby. Tourists often build memorial cairns out of lava stones here.
