Þverfellshorn

Þverfellshorn is an 840-meter high peak that is part of the Esja complex. This spot is already part of the plateau, so once you climb up here, you won’t face any more significant and steep ascents. The journey from the parking lot to this point will take you about 2 hours, and you’ll be greeted with views of the landscape surrounding the capital area from Höfuðborgarsvæðið, from Mosfellsbær to Reykjavík.
