þórufoss

Þórufoss is a 15-meter-tall waterfall on the Laxá í Kjós river. I’ve heard from locals that even salmon are able to overcome this waterfall. I tell you, they truly have a relentless desire to reproduce. It’s also one of the locations where the saga “Game of Thrones” was filmed. A charming oasis of tranquility near Reykjavik.

Thórufoss waterfall is located right off road number 48 – Kjósarskarðsvegur.
