Gatanöf

Gatanöf is a rock formation in the shape of a gate on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean on a small peninsula called Bakkahöfði. Access is a bit more complicated as you cannot drive close by car, but you can take a walk around the entire small peninsula. Besides the rock gate, there isn’t much of interest here.
Gatanöf is located 3 kilometers north of Húsavík. You can park at the PCC BakkiSilicon factory and continue on foot.
