Hjálparfoss is a smaller, uniquely shaped waterfall located near road 32, which you might take when heading to the Háifoss waterfall, the beautiful Gjáin area, or further into the Rainbow Mountains and Landmannalaugar. It is one of those waterfalls that probably won’t be the main destination of your trip, but it’s a nice spot to stop and take a break.
