The geothermal pool Hrunalaug is a beautiful symbiosis of nature and tasteful human intervention. It’s a great place for thermal relaxation in the Golden Circle area.
From the village of Flúðir, head east on Road No. 344. After about 4 kilometers, you will see several houses and a church on the right side (GPS coordinates: 64.140451, -20.265594). Turn there and after another 300 meters, turn right. There you’ll find a small parking lot from which it’s just a short walk to Hrunalaug.
