Búrfell
Búrfell is a mountain offering a view of the Hekla volcano. There is a road leading to the summit, but in some places, it is difficult to navigate or even impassable. However, this doesn’t matter much, as entry for civilian vehicles is prohibited. If you want to reach the top, you must do so on foot.
Therefore, most people admire Búrfell as a backdrop when visiting the Þjófafoss waterfall.
