A parking lot with restrooms, serving as the starting point to the ancient farm Stöng í Þjórsárdal, the Gjárfoss waterfall, and the Gjáin valley.

Located directly on road no. 327 in the southwestern part of Iceland. If you are coming from the west, you can manage with a 2WD car, but if you are coming from the east, only a 4WD will suffice.
