Bæjarfell is a 348-meter high mountain in the Strandir region, directly above the town of Drangsnes. In the summer months, the ascent is quite easy; the incline is gentle, and anyone in at least average condition can reach the summit. From there, you will have panoramic views of Drangsnes, the island of Grímsey, and Húnaflói Bay. The ascent will take you about an hour and a half.
