Bæjarfell is a 348-meter-high mountain in the Strandir area, directly above the town of Drangsnes. In the summer months, the climb is quite easy, with a gentle ascent that anyone in at least average fitness can handle. From the top, you will have panoramic views of Drangsnes, the island of Grímsey, and Húnaflói Bay. The climb will take you about an hour and a half.
