Gvendarlaug í Bjarnarfirði
The natural historical pond Gvendarlaug í Bjarnarfirði is truly of historical significance. It is said that Bishop Guðmundur góði Arason had himself consecrated here. Because of this, it is reportedly forbidden to swim in the pond.
You can find this historical pond right behind the Laugarhóll hotel, near road number 643.
