Æðarfossar
Æðarfossar is a segmented waterfall located about 3 kilometers before the water of the Laxá River flows into the ocean bay Skjálfandi. It is not high, but it is interesting due to the character of the river at the waterfall, which forms three small islands – Laxhólmi, Kríusker, and Hásker. Access to the waterfall is complicated as the path is private, so if you wish to visit, you must walk from road 85.
