Vatnsdalsvatn Lake can be found on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula near the town of Stykkishólmur at the foot of the beautiful mountain Drápuhlíðarfjall.
It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the lake, and you will need to jump over a small stream.
