Hverahlíð (Vonarskarð)

Hverahlíð is a stunning geothermal area in the Icelandic interior. The only reason it’s not crowded with tourists is that the area is hard to reach. However, if you manage to get there, you might have all this beauty just for yourself. There are several geothermal springs and also one small but very intense geyser.
