Snækollur

Snækollur, with an elevation of 1,483 meters, is the highest peak of the witch’s mountains, Kerlingarfjöll. You can reach its summit in two ways: the first starting point is Keis, from where you will reach the top of Snækollur in about 2 hours. The second option is the parking area at Hveradalir, from there the ascent is usually done as a circuit over several peaks, and be prepared to wade through a river.
