Þveragil

Þveragil is a little-known canyon on the Þverá River. You can find it 15 kilometers south of Vopnafjörður and park at a small parking lot along road 919. The canyon stretches several kilometers, and there is a nice walk alongside it, in places where you are unlikely to encounter anyone.
