Reykjavík

Reykjavík – the northernmost capital city in the world, with nearly 200,000 residents in its metropolitan area, is by far the largest city in Iceland (the second largest being Akureyri with 18,000 residents).

Famous landmarks include Laugavegur Street, Hallgrímskirkja Church, the Harpa cultural center, the Sun Voyager sculpture, Höfði House, and several museums.
