Möngufoss

Möngufoss is a truly beautiful waterfall located right on the cliffs of the western coast of the Strandir region. It is visible even from the opposite shore of the fjord and can be seen from the Litlibær viewpoint, which is a popular spot for seal watching. You can reach Möngufoss on foot from the end of road 635, where you walk about 5 kilometers along the coast. The journey will take about 2 hours each way, and how long you stay is up to you.
