Drangarlaug

Drangarlaug is a small geothermal pool in the Húsadalur valley. Don’t expect much tourist traffic here, as the nearest parking lot is a good 25 kilometers away, and on the way you also have to cross two mountain passes. Right next to the pool is the river Húsár á Dröngum, and good Icelandic custom says that you should wash thoroughly in the river before bathing in the pool. That way, you won’t embarrass yourself.
